Mechanical tubing provides thicker wall sizes

Scan Tube & Steel Services has released new stainless steel mechanical tubing.

According to the company, mechanical tube is a great alternative to solid bar or pipe, when a project requires a thicker wall size.

With OD sizes from 1.25 in. to 10 in., many different alternatives exist for any engineering project that comes to mind. The mechanical tube is stocked in the most common 304/304L and 316/316L grades, while other grades can be supplied on order.

All stainless steel mechanical tube is manufactured in accordance with ASTM A511 and ASME SA479 specifications. Mechanical tubing can be ordered in full length or cut to size in-house.
