Video: UFC 223’s Tony Ferguson kicks a steel pipe in training
Many UFC fighters choose to do things a little out of the ordinary when it comes to preparing for fights. But interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson takes it to another level. Ferguson, who is getting ready for a big showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov for the "undisputed" 155-pound belt, is featured in a video from the UFC's Facebook page where he's kicking a pipe.
Yeah, actually kicking a steel pipe. Check it out:

Here's his description in the video:
"This is about a 10,000 PSI pipe. It's steel braided. This is my conditioning for my shins. Or elbows. It's hard body, if you all want a demonstration."
He throws two hard kicks at the pipe. He checks his chins. "No blood," he says. He then shows that all the dents in the pipe are in the middle, not the top or bottom. "F—k his stomach," he says. "Right in the arms. I’m gonna break his arms."
Ferguson (23-3, 13-1 UFC) meets Nurmagomedov (25-0, 9-0 UFC) in the main event of UFC 223 on April 7th in Brooklyn.
